Mark Allardyce is a lifelong technologist, founder and writer.

A seasoned innovator with over forty years building ventures across AI, fintech, healthcare, blockchain, publishing and cybersecurity, he has launched startups, taken them public and delivered solutions for global leaders including BP, PwC, Shell and Pfizer. His pioneering work in secure data exchange and digital privacy earned him Crown Commercial Supplier status and key government contracts.

As a storyteller, Mark explores truth through fiction, philosophy and children’s books — helping readers young and old reconnect with empathy, nature and self-belief. His speculative fiction wrestles with how innovation shapes ethics, freedoms and our collective future, while his Offscreen Explorers project encourages children and families to rediscover the living world beyond their screens.

Now, as an Empathy Architect, Mark brings all these threads together — helping innovators build technology that can bear the real-world weight of human behaviour.
