The world is becoming more connected than ever.
Yet many families have never felt further apart.
OffScreen Explorers is a family movement created by British technology founder, author and Empathy Architect Mark Allardyce.
After more than four decades working inside technology and artificial intelligence, Mark began asking a simple question:
What happens if children grow up connected to everything… except the real world?
OffScreen Explorers exists to help families step away from constant screens and rediscover something older, calmer and deeply human.
Not through guilt.
Through adventure.
Campfires. Night walks. Stories. Hidden trails. Shared moments that children actually remember.
The project combines storytelling, outdoor exploration and analogue experiences designed to help families reconnect with nature, conversation, imagination and each other.
It is not anti-technology.
It simply believes children also deserve muddy shoes, star-filled skies and memories that don’t only exist on a screen.
